Have you noticed that in the last few years more people live in open, blatant sin ... and they don't think a thing about it? They shamelessly have sex before marriage, cheat on their spouse, steal from the government, lie to get ahead, or bail on their family! Jeremiah 6:15 says, “Were they ashamed because of the abomination they have done? They were not even ashamed at all; they did not even know how to blush." One of the marks of a hardened heart is the inability to feel shame and conviction of the Holy Spirit. Does God want us to live in shame? Absolutely not! But He wants us to feel the shame and to come out of the deception that our sins are “no big deal” so that we can get right with Him. I encourage you to humbly confess your sins to Him, claim His total cleansing, and make the decision to quit compromising any longer. When you do that, you’ll discover REAL HOPE.
