I often have people come to me and say they have repeatedly ask God to save them, but they’re not sure they are saved because they don't feel saved. Can you relate? Do you have struggles with the assurance of your salvation? Listen, this critical issue is relatively simple. The bottom line: is the Lord trustworthy or not? You see, Jesus promises to save anyone who will turn to Him in repentance and faith. And if we do turn to Him in repentance and faith, we can be assured, by the trustworthiness of HIS Word, that He will save us, just as He has promised. Two key words in the Christian life: grace and faith. Grace is God's acceptance of you ... and faith is your acceptance of God's acceptance of you. Trust the Lord's Word, regardless of your feelings. He is God, and He can’t lie. Now that is REAL HOPE.
