Oftentimes people accuse God of gross unfairness and injustice. Skeptics point to the devastating flood of Noah’s day or the extermination of the Amalekites—to try to prove that God has a dark side. But nothing could be further from the truth. The apostle John says, “…. God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:4). You see, God is “Holy, Holy, Holy.” He is compassionate, merciful, gracious, patient, and kind. He is perfect in all His ways. His ways may not make sense to us, but His ways are always good and always right because He is a good and perfect God.  Let me encourage you to spend quality time with God. Get to know Him, not just know about Him. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you. Open your heart to Him, and He will open His heart to you.  Now that is Real Hope.
