Hall of fame wrestler Andre Roussimoff was a mountain of a man. He stood 7 foot 4, and weighed a whopping five hundred pounds! He rightly deserved the moniker, Andre the Giant. Now as big as he was, he was smaller than a pimple on a flea compared to God. The Bible says the highest heavens cannot even contain God. He is a big God. And this big God lives inside every genuine Christian ... and He wants to arise. David said in Psalm 68, "Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered." We don't have to try to make Him arise; we just have to let Him arise. And in order to do that, we have to move out from behind the driver’s seat and yield all control to Him. You see, when you encounter problems and trials, you need to turn them all over to Him. You are not big enough to handle them, but He is. Maybe you are facing enemies today ... maybe the hounds of hell are nipping at your heels and causing you to fear. Trust me, those enemies will flee like a scalded dog if you simply let go and let God arise in you. Now that’s REAL HOPE.
