The bible tells us that Jesus is the truth and the devil is a liar and the father of lies. The Lord always tells the truth and Satan always tells a lie. But here is the interesting thing about that. It is much easier to believe Satan’s lies than the Lord’s truth. You know why? Because Satan’s lies always match up with our feelings. For example, when you sin and blow it big time, the devil will tell you God won’t forgive you, that God doesn’t love you anymore, that God is done with you. That’s all a lie, but it FEELS like the truth, and we so often tend to believe it. Remember this, truth is not what you think or feel, truth is what God says. Spend time with the Lord in His Word and believe what He says, even if you don’t feel it. It is in His Word where you will find REAL HOPE.
