When I began From His Heart Ministries, I was asked about our mission statement. It says this -- No matter how badly you may have messed up in life, God still loves you and He still has a wonderful plan for you. I believe that to the core of my being. Someone once challenged me on it, Jeff, with so much suffering, how can you say God promises a wonderful life to a believer. Some get killed for their faith, is that wonderful?” Well, the Bible is clear: following Christ is worth it in this life, even if we die a martyr’s death for Him. Following Jesus means I experience His love, joy, and peace. Psalm 16:11 says, “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Listen, the Christian life is never promised to be warm, fuzzy, and problem-free. But the fruit of the Spirit and the fellowship of the Savior make life "wonderful" no matter the trials. Now that’s REAL HOPE.
