Making Today Your Masterpiece
John Wooden is one of my favorite basketball coaches of all time. He had this quote, "Things turn out best for people who make the best of the way things turn out." You see, life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond to it! And all responses should factor in the miracle-working God. Now, if you’ve been making bad choices, you should begin today to direct your heart toward God and His Word. If you’re struggling with a sin that seems to be eating your lunch, James 5:16 says, "Confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another that you may be healed." Today is the only day you have. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow may never come. So, today, rejoice in the LORD, and let Him use you for His glory, no matter where you are or what's going on. That’s where you’ll find real hope.
