I remember listening years ago to a powerful testimony and the man giving it said this, “I had heard about Jesus and His love but I saw it or experienced it. I needed someone to model His love to me. I needed to see a Jesus with skin.” Now, none of us is Jesus, but every true Christian has the spirit of Jesus living within. When we receive Christ as Savior and Lord, He comes into our lives and gives us a brand new heart and begins to change us from the inside out. It just happens as you trust Him who lives in you to live through you. Let me encourage you to be Jesus with skin to those who need to see and experience Him. Ask the Lord to make you sensitive to opportunities and for Him to shine the light of His love through your life. Now that provides the world with REAL HOPE.
