It's a Walk with God
Debbie and I have often taken power walks together. We walk with a purpose—to get in better shape. But the walks always produce a wonderful side benefit: time together to talk and share and work as a team. Our marriage is always the strongest when we have undistracted, unhurried, quality time together. The same is true in the Christian life. You see, it is not a sprint or a jog, it's a walk with the Lord, step by step, day by day. Walking with God means you spend time with Him in prayer, and praise, and Bible Study. It means you go in His direction and walk at His pace. So here is the big question: are you walking with God today? Are you really sharing your hopes and dreams and secrets and fears and faults and failures with the God who made you and loves you? The King of all kings invites you to walk with Him and spend time with Him. As you do, He will change your life. Now that's REAL HOPE.
